Desires, Decisions, and Consequences | Young and Foolish Podcast - 79
This week on the young and foolish podcast, the guys talk about the relationship of desires, decisions, and consequences. They go over various examples to illustrate the point. George talks about how people won't do things as opposed can't do them, because he knows he can technically spend hundreds of dollars for flights, miss classes, and play basketball with his friends back in Vancouver if he really wanted to. By acknowledging that as an option, it's easier for you to recognize your desires, values, and other "more extreme" options. When you know what you want and think about all the consequences each of your options has, you can make a series of decisions that maximizes the chances that you get what you want/avoid what you really don't want.
